The 9 Ancients[]

Soft Canon[]

These items exist in the soft canon setting of Alpachi Death Canyon.

Creation[]

There isn't a lot of information regarding the creation of the 9 Ancients, all that is known is that almost all of them where crafted by a man named Doloran. It is speculated by some scholars who have studied the mythos of these items that the items themselves hold no power, but the runes etched into them do.

Grasp of the Undying mastery 2016

Grasp of the Undying[]

A skeletal hand bracelet which when put of grasps the wielder

s wrist. This bracelet was created by Doloran, a legendary weapon smith, armor smith, and jeweler. The bracelet is covered in strange runes.

In Game Effect[]

Your first turn in combat and every fourth turn in combat after that you automatically hit the first attack you make, this attack deals max damage, plus an additional 1d12 necrotic damage. After you hit you regain HP equal to your CON modifier + your hit dice + the result of the 1d12 rolled for damage

Strength of the Ages[]

An amulet with a black gem attached to the middle. This amulet was created by Doloran, a legendary weapon smith, armor smith, and jeweler. The amulet is covered in strange runes.

In Game Effect[]

Anytime you score the last hit on a creature you gain one of tha

t creatures hit dice as temporary hut points, this bonus does not cap. You do not regain any temporary hit points you lose. You lose any and all temporary hit points if the amulet is removed from your person.

Bond of Stone[]

Bond of Stone mastery 2016

Plate mail armor that appears to be made out of stone, large in size, obviously crafted to fit a person larger in stature. This armor was created by Doloran, a legendary weapon smith, armor smith, and jeweler. The armor is covered in strange runes.

In game Effect[]

Anyone who wears this armor gains a +2 to AC and is resistant to piercing, bludgeoning, and slashing damage. In combat, if any creature you see as an ally within 10ft of you would take damage, excluding psychic, falling, or drowning damage, that damage is halved and split between the creature and yourself.

Stormraiders Surge[]

Stormraider's Surge mastery 2016

A black pirate hat that is twin pointed, on the face of the hat is a skull and crossbones. Although this hat wasn't created by Doloran it is assumed that he was the one who etched the runes into the hat.

In Game Effect[]

When you deal 3 times a creatures hit dice as damage in one round of combat you can take the dash of disengage action action one during the same turn as a free action, during that turn your movement speed is also doubled.

Thunderlords Decree[]

Thunderlord's Decree mastery 2016

A dagger with an sapphire gem encrusted into the hilt. This dagger was created by Doloran, a legendary weapon smith, armor smith, and jeweler. The dagger is covered in strange runes.

In Game Effect[]

After hitting a creature with 3 attacks and/or spells consecutively, that creature is hit with a lightning bolt that deals 8d6 damage. This effect can only happen once every pair of consecutive 3 attacks and/or spells.

Windspeekers Blessing[]

Windspeaker's Blessing mastery 2016

A large wooden totem resembling a hand held totem pole. This totem is of elven craftsmanship but draws it's power from the runes that where carved into it by Doloran.

In Game Effect[]

Any healing spells cast on yourself or a creature you see as an ally gains an additional 1d20 to the healing done. Every creature who is healed by this effect becomes resistant to all type of damage until the end of your next turn, this effect is only applied if a creature regains at least 1 hit point minimum.

Warlords Bloodlust[]

Warlord's Bloodlus

A giant greatsword, the blade of the sword itself is black, while a onyx gem is encrusted into the hilt. This greatsword was created by Doloran, a legendary weapon smith, armor smith, and jeweler. The greatsword is covered in strange runes.

In Game Effect[]

Anyone who wields this greatsword gains a +2 to hit and to damage roles, and while the wielder is below full HP the greatsword deals necrotic damage. When you successfully hit a melee attack against a creature who is living and from the mortal plain, you regain hit points based on how many hit points you have missing.

Less than full HP but more that half HP Regain half the damage dealt by the sword
Less than half HP but more that 1/3 HP Regain half the damage dealt by the sword +1 of your hit dice
Less that 1/3 HP but more than 1 HP Regain the full damage taken by the sword

Fervor of Battle[]

Fervor of Battle mastery 2016

A pair of gloves that are made from various different animal hides, but appearing to be stitched together by a sower. Although these gloves were not created by Doloran the draw their power from the runes he stitched into them, even if they ruined the original design.

In Game Effect[]

Every consecutive attack you make on a single target gains an additional +1 to hit and to damage, this bonus has a max of +8 to hit and to damage, and works in stacks. The stacks are lost if you don't attack for one round of combat or switch targets.

Deathfire Touch[]

Deathfire Touch mastery 2016

A metallic ball that appears to produce a small flame, the metal itself is pure and appears to have no indents on rust on it. The creation of the actual orb is unknown, but it draws it's power from the runes Doloran etched into it.

In Game Effect[]

When you hit a creature with a spell that required you to roll to hit, that creature takes an additional 1d12+ casting modifier Fire damage. The creature is then required to make a saving throw based on the casters spell save DC, if failed the creature take an additional 1d12 + casting modifier Fire damage for 1d12 rounds, at the start of the creature turn
